Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.We have an exciting opportunity for an Assessor in Horticulture within our Apprenticeship Department, based here at our York campus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching specialist horticulture subjects, liaise with employers across the North of England, conduct timely progress reviews of Apprentices and also provide pastoral support as necessary, ensuring achievement of the Apprenticeship qualification.
Educated to Level 3 or above in a relevant subject, candidates should hold a teaching qualification or be willing to start working towards this within 12 months. With recent vocational experience and good sector-based links, you will ensure high quality assessment and teaching is planned to meet employer and sector needs.
